Every module. Every role. One platform.

Invoices, cash flow, jobs, field logs, orders, inventory, vendors, prices, unit cost, and timesheets in one system. Prices come out at launch. Until then, a few contractors can run it free for 90 days on their own jobs.

The Offer

Let’s take a look at your numbers.

We’re opening a few spots for contractors who want to run BuildMetrx on a real job. We set it up with you, and you see your own numbers in it.

What’s Inside

Twelve connected modules.

BuildMetrx includes all twelve, grouped here by the part of the business they run. Pick one to see what it does for you.

Invoices & payables · 01

Invoice Processing

Upload a batch, match every line to a catalog item, job, and cost code, and approve from one queue.

What you get

  • Each line links to a catalog item on upload, and item names are learned from your own review picks, vendor by vendor.
  • Job defaults fill in the cost code and unit cost on matching lines before anyone opens the invoice.
  • The review screen puts the PDF beside the extracted lines with a confidence score on each one, so people only check what the reader was unsure about.

Invoices & payables · 02

Cash Flow

Every approved invoice becomes a bill until it is paid. What’s owed, what’s overdue, and what’s due week by week.

What you get

  • An eight-week forecast shows the balance owed per week, so you know what the account needs before it needs it.
  • Group bills by vendor or by job, with a paid history of what went out and when.
  • Invoices still in review are shown but never counted, so the forecast only reflects approved dollars.
See Cash Flow in detail

Buying · 03

Vendor Tracking

Spend and purchase history for every vendor, and which supplier has the best price right now on every item.

What you get

  • One supplier billing under two names still reads as one history.
  • Per-vendor defaults fill in the cost code and unit cost on new invoices, so there is less to type at review.
See Vendor Tracking in detail

Buying · 04

CostMetrx

A current price, all-time low and high, and a price history on every item, with an alert when a price moves sharply.

What you get

  • The biggest price movers surface on their own, climbing and falling, before they reach your next order.
  • Prices are kept per unit: per sheet, per roll, per cubic yard.
  • Every item opens to its own history: spend, quantity bought, current price, all-time low and high, and the last purchase date.

Job costs · 07

Budget

Set the number once per job and cost code. Budget, actual, variance, and budget used for every job, side by side.

What you get

  • CSI-style cost codes or your own structure, applied the same way on every job.
  • Lock a baseline and the projected-versus-actual curve shows whether a job is ahead of or behind its plan.
  • A job with no budget is called out in the table, so nothing runs without a number.

Job costs · 05

Active Job Spend

A running total per job the moment an invoice is approved, month by month and by cost code.

What you get

  • Spend by month and by cost code sit on one page, so a spike shows both when it happened and what it was.
  • The job page and the invoices page always agree.
  • Every job links straight to its invoices and daily reports, so any number traces back to the document behind it.

Job costs · 08

Actual Breakdown

Actual spend by category next to the budget for that line, with anything running over flagged in red.

What you get

  • Variance is flagged per line item, with the share of budget used on every category.
  • The breakdown matches what was approved, with no double counting.
  • Export-ready reports for owners, lenders, and your accounting system.

Job costs · 12

Cost Per Unit of Work

The real cost of a unit of work, per cubic yard, square foot, or each, from your own jobs’ real numbers.

What you get

  • One number per field covers everything the work took, from your own jobs’ real numbers.
  • Price the next job from what the work really cost you, not a cost book and not a guess.
  • Every job you finish makes the next bid easier.

Field & yard · 06

Field Logs

The superintendent’s daily report of weather and crew, in about two minutes per job.

What you get

  • Weather and manpower on one screen, with a flag when weather delays the work.
  • Man-hours roll up on every report (today, previous, and from start), so labor history is never rebuilt later.
  • A daily board shows which jobs have filed and which have not.
See Field Logs in detail

Field & yard · 13

Timesheets

Who worked, where, and at what rate. Hours times rate plus bonus, with overtime past 40 hours flagged.

What you get

  • Type clock-in and clock-out into any day, even one saved weeks ago, and hours compute as you type.
  • The week runs Monday to Sunday, matching the overtime week on the pay summary.
  • A rates-set counter shows which workers are missing a rate before payroll closes.

Field & yard · 10

Inventory

What’s in stock, what’s signed out, and what to order next, valued at the latest invoice price you paid.

What you get

  • Stock on hand is tracked by location: the main yard and each site container.
  • Crews sign material out to a job and return what they don’t use, so shrinkage has a paper trail.
  • Set a minimum per item and the low-stock list writes itself.

Field & yard · 11

Equipment

Owned and rented equipment side by side, with the rental meter in view before it runs over budget.

What you get

  • Rental invoices are matched to machines by serial or fleet key, so rental dollars land on the right job.
  • Every machine carries its job, and sign-outs and returns show where it is.
  • Overdue returns are flagged with a running weekly rental cost.

How It Works

See it on your own jobs first.

The demo runs on your data, and the quote follows from what you actually run.

  1. Step 01

    Request a demo.

A 30-minute walkthrough using your own job data. Bring a recent invoice batch and a live budget, and we’ll show you what BuildMetrx would have flagged. We reply within one business day.

  2. Step 02

    Load your jobs.

Our team confirms which jobs to load. Cost codes can follow CSI or your own structure, and vendor names are learned from your own review picks, so coding gets faster as you go.

    Placeholder

Onboarding timeline, what’s included, and any setup fee still need to be confirmed.

  3. Step 03

    Sign in and run.

Your team signs in at app.buildmetrx.com. Support hours are 7am–7pm Central, Monday through Friday, and existing clients receive a response within four business hours.
