BuildMetrx keeps all four on one screen and updates them as the work happens. The superintendent files the daily report, the office approves the invoice, and the number lands on the job without anyone typing it twice.

Rule 1: Approved invoices only.
Prices, vendor history, and the cash flow forecast are built from approved invoices. Invoices still in review show on screen but aren’t counted.

Rule 2: Every number traces to a document.
Each job page links to its invoices and daily reports, so you can open the paper behind any figure.

Rule 3: Measured on your jobs.
Unit costs are measured on your own jobs instead of taken from a published estimating book.

Rule 4: No double counting.
Actual spend is the sum of approved line items before tax, so the job page, the invoices page, and the breakdown show the same total.

The superintendent’s daily report takes about two minutes per job.
